How to set up a pre-answered message

The drop-off message, also known as the welcome message, is the first point of contact with your potential customers and/or prospects.

The pre-answer message is played in full, so not to be confused with the on-hold music which will be cut off as soon as an agent is available to answer.

Examples of pre-answer messages:

  • Inform that the call may be recorded;
  • Communicate service times;
  • Inform of certain events: commercial operation, late delivery, etc.

Add a pre-answer message

Adding a message is done by selecting the “Play a sound” action. From the drop-down list, choose the sound that will be played.

The message in MP3 format will have previously been imported into the “Settings” > “Sounds & Music” menu.
